The PC Technician Role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity and will be located in the West Palm Beach, Florida region.Major responsibilities- Manage and execute technology implementation projects- Interface with ticket submitters regularly and effectively- Take down, box and ship out of date equipment- Service a variety of computer hardware, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and refurbishing PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Install and repair printers, troubleshooting problems as needed- Support functionality testing and end users- Follow company quality standards to ensure the integrity of all electronic data records- Disassemble, pack, move and set up/install on site- Complete transferal of data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix- Manage inventory of equipment, including collaborating on potential purchases- Arrange repairs with the suitable vendors- Own imaging and preparation of new computers
